The B series of ISO 216, which includes commonly used size dimensions, is an international standard used in almost all countries. It was created to provide paper sizes that are not available in the A series. As with the A-series paper sizes, the B-series was first developed on the basis of taking a sheet with a length of 1 meter and an area of square meters (m²) on the wide side.
Thus this paper has a width and length of 1000 mm and 1414 mm, respectively (aspect ratio of 2 square root:1), and is numbered B0.
If the long side of the B0 paper is cut in two, two sheets of B1 are obtained, both with a width and length of 707 mm and 1000 mm. Continue in this manner will be B1 paper to cut, you can get B2, B3, B4, etc. paper size in order.
